blood2 for windows xp

Yeah, but please note I said the drivers suck, not nvidia. On the same hardware you'll get much better results if you play Blood 2 through Wine on a *nix.Slink wrote:Tsk tsk, scrapping old dX code... that is shameful.
If you're a religious windows user, you could probably make a quick Slax live cd with an nvidia driver module and a Wine module just for playing. It'll be those old Boot Disk days again.
hi, I used to play blood 2 a few years back, but now I want to have another bash at it just for nostalgia. I tried it before on my win XP machine and the problems I experienced were:
black menu screens but with music playing
you could go into config menus and set up the controls how you wished, but if I remember right, it would not save the configurations for next time you played it, meaning it would snap back to the default controls and such like.
And when I played this years back I remember it caused me a fair few monitor-punching problems, blood 2 the badly made game that would freeze at any random time forcing you to reboot etc. if there's anything that can be done about the config-amnesiac issue, i'd be glad to know of it.
