Hmmm, i take it you mean Quake 3

In that case, i think this is good.

Erm, celebration?

Big deal! I'm Unreal Tournament all the way, baby! The grand rival! :D

Edit : Hang on a tick... why's this under 'Transfusion'?

I guess I Live...AGAIN meant discussing Q3 source code release regarding Transfusion development.

Even though I'm very glad to finally see this code opened, I think it's not really a big event for the project since it seems clear now that the team doesn't want an engine switch anytime soon. Apart from a few minor features and optimizations in the network code maybe -- and I'm not very optimistic on that one --, I don't expect it to have a significant impact on DP code, especially now that LordHavoc is slowly moving his coding efforts to Neither / DarkWar.

Maybe for optimizations in the netcode though.

UT, UT, UT. I just got Quake 3, so I can't judge them quite yet. But I'm sure UT is better. :P I just love UT more in comparison to original Quake and Quake 2, and I play UT2K4 frequently nowadays, and the community seems to prefer UT, so bleh. Rambling.

Ha! nothing like sniping a would-be flag capturer in the head from a sniping tower, and taunting them in my own voice! Mind you, quake 3 isn't that bad. Especially the generations Mod.

I'm liking what I've done so far. It's crashing too much and I'm being way too redundant with my posts lately. Jeez, I need to stop posting the same information in 5 different threads. :?

I think this could be a great oppourtunity to get more to the netcode. It's the worst aspect in Transfusion at the moment. Almost everything else is great stuff!
