Looks nice. Add the black border bit that's on the original that kinda runs along the left side and along the bottom.

More blood stains to the left and in the middle-right on the lower right portion.

Very nice. And yes, the border is missing.

Actually, the border isn't missing so much if you compare it with the original, rather than the earlier attempt at retexturing.
Very nicely done ReFlex

There would be a retexture project, or rather I should say there is a retexture project, but as far as the team goes it is of low priority given what else we have to complete with the game. A number of people have expressed interest in redoing textures, and have even created a couple, only to disappear very quickly....

Just a quick in game study. I don't know if you'll be happy with the resuts. The light/dark contrast may be a little to much unfortunatly, it tends to bring out the repeditive nature of the tile. And yeah, I guess it does need a little more bordering.

Texture looks as if it was made of a stone from the distance. And yeah, the lighting does show the repeditive nature and so do the edges a bit.

That does look quite a bit better in game. The heavier border seems to do the trick.
There's only one small area left that tends to draw the eye. It's this small clustering of the light blotches.

Is bumpmapping supported in the Darkplaces?

You can even use normals and gloss (normals are preferred over bumpmaps because the engine converts the bumps into normals each time the texture is loaded).
