Recently both Free Gamer and Linux Gaming News mentioned Transfusion and some other fan games (and yes Dusty, I will leave that comment at that). Anyway, see what they have to say about TF:

Also note the several links to the Blood Wiki. (Next stop, world domination! Wooo!)

Glad this is back on track, you know the screens of TF on the Linux site are great. I forgot how good it looked.

Ahh so my little post has gotten some attention here as well ;) FreeGamer is actually a blog where currently three writers are involved, and that little article was done by me :)

In fact I recently also posted a thread on the Nexuiz board concerning the possible coordination between the two projects:
http://alientrap.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5685
(doesn't necessarily have to be a mod though).

In the comments of Maxim's page it is also mentioned that currently there is some attempt to breath some live back into the project? How far has that gotten?

Btw I think Transfusion really has the potential to become one of the few FOSS games with an actually (good) single player proportion, and it would be really interesting to see if it isn't possible to turn it into a full coop game as well.

Edit: how current is the to-do page on the transfusion page?

The To-Do list is fairly out of date. Some things on there have been finished, other things should have been added. Coordination has been an issue, which is what I was hoping to address int he Web2.0 experience thread.
