How about a "Left 4 Dead" style multiplayer mode where the chosen need to survive against the Cabal?

I had an idea for a fun multiplayer mod where it would be Caleb/The Chosen against a summoner cultist. The summoner would run around raising zombies, and then after X-number of zombies were on the board, he could raise bloated butchers, and then gargoyles and so on.

The winning scenario for the cultist would be to survive long enough to raise Tchernobog.

The winning scenario for Caleb or one of the Chosen would be to kill the summoner, or secure a section of the map for a set amount of time, or something similar. Obviously this would get harder as time progressed.

I'm not sure how close the idea is to left4dead, I've not had a chance to play that yet.

Left 4 Dead's game engine is designed to make things happen in a randomized manner. The zombies spawn in random locations across the whole map, the special zombies come out at random times and it's a random type of special zombie each time, weapons placed in random locations each time you play, etc. A Blood version of Left 4 Dead would be nice which I think I talked about it before, but Left 4 Dead's SDK is out now so I'd love to see someone do it. :)

Chris, (or anyone else who hates Steam like me)

You can download the L4D demo and play without Steam at this page.

http://digiex.net/games-downloads/628-l ... nload.html
There are instructions how to install on the page.

The easier way is to download the demo from Steam(Valve's spyware) and ruin your computer.

They only offered it for a limited time, then the access to it was disabled.
