Problem - Connection accepted and nothing happends

Post by MultiTricker »

Hi, i don´t find this problem on this forum, so I describe it here.

I want play Transfusion with my friend over internet, we both have open port 26000 (and we connecting on this port), but after I want to join in his game (or he want to join in my game), then we see console and last message is "connection accepted to IP:26000" (instead of IP is his/my IP address ;)), we wait few minutes and nothing happends :(

Can please somebody help us, what we do bad? I hope this is just a trivial question.

Thanks for any help!

And sorry for my bad English.

You will want to update your version or Darkplaces, the Quake engine we use for the game.

Delete your old transfusion.exe and download the updated Darkplaces.exe

Download that here

Unzip the file to your transfusion directory and overwrite any files that pop up.

The older Transfusion.exe has issues connecting to comptuers over the internet if it is also setup on a LAN.

You'll have to rename your "transfusion" data subdirectory to "basetf" too. Hopefully, there's no other incompatibility between the current version of DP and the TF 1.0x series. Please, let us know.
