It looks like the AlienArena folks have forked GTKRadiant and have updated it some.

Has anyone else seen anything about this?

I've heard of the game before, but I never actually played it or anything.

Is the original GTKRadiant project still active or is this just an attempt revive the tool from the dead?

Not sure to be honest, but I figure that another tool in the toolbox can't be that bad right?

PS, sorry about the signatures Tchernobog. The spambots are getting clever and have been adding links into their signatures.

The Wikipedia article for GTKRadiant outlines two other forks in existence as well. There is DarkRadiant which was developed for The Dark Mod (which I really have to try out someday) and ZeroRadiant, which has the backing of id behind it and seems to be the formal successor to the project.
