So,

I hightened the contrast on the hair
Made eyesbrows fit in better
Did 'some' patchwork on the trousers and lessened the tore a bit. I think it looks rather silly. :|

Yes, no?

Well the body looks alot better, not so heroic, more of the "common joe" look. Though the crew cut... man... all he needs it a full blown mullet!

Looking at the tile it seems like he may actualy be balding a little.

His shorts are to dark, some frays are good but what you have there is too uniform

Very nice, but maybe we could have a few special innoccents in some areas.

Like some of the fourum guys.

Its a wasy we could be in the game, but not intrude on it too much . .

And has any1 tried to do the mime-artists?

Funny that you should say that, r_cain. Now that I think about it, the mimes will require quite a lot of effort for a simple sprite in Transfusion, because it is basically a 'character model', while being a sprite. Sheesh.

I liked the previous haircut much more. This body is better though. Combine the two and you're nearly there. ;)

Looks skinny when compared to Blood Sprite Version...
EDIT: I mean the model not the skin - the skin is perfect

Hmm, the eyes must be dark, and fade/blend into the face! As far as the modelling, he must appear to have more adipose tissue (fat.) The original sprite really reminds me of famous actor Chris Elliott, seen as the camera guy in the movie, "Groundhog Day"(1993), or the ESPECIALLY the main character in "Cabin Boy"(1993). HEREis a link to his info on Yahoo!.

Oh, and most of the trees in Blood appear to be "saplings," or young trees. These trees are much too stout! :) The must appear almost skeletal in many cases. Just take a look at the trees in Blood in E1M1. ;) Nice work, though, great progress!!!

Thanks so much-

just to summerize before I give him another overhaul:
- to bright? well, granted. I use a gradient of Bloodcolours but those don't necessairily work for unshaded models. I can do some general colourthinkering aftwerwards, as now every bodypart is a separate layer.
- the hair didn't get changed all that much, but I'm probably going to give him a new haircut anyway.
- as for the Chris Eliot thing, well, I'll try something, we'll see how it looks.
- as for the skinny/flabbyness: well IMHO the sprite seems very skinny, -you can see his abs and ribs. The model, also rather skinny. So basically, I think skinny is the way to go here
- new pants
- the eyes blending in in the face will be something else though. Those are separate models. Perhaps Kaz is planning to make them open or close inthe future I dunno.
- as for the trees; I think old, dead looking trees fit the theme better than young ones.

Edit:
Just five minutes of work, but I think it's so funny you should see it:

DOES HE LOOK LIKE CHRIS ELLIOT NOW?! :D
You should see him run around.

Heh, despite seemingly going against a lot of what we had agreed made it totally rawk, that is better. I love it.
