Um, effort? Gosh, I can't believe I've overlooked this thread! There's some good stuff here! Good one Cru!

You probably haven't overlooked this, but I'm gonna ask anyway. Are the monster guts going to get the same 3d treatment? You know. The prize you get for throwing TNT? They were heavily used in that build-engine title.

Aren't those limbs? Oh well. What I was referring to was the squiggy looking bits of pink and red that fly out of enemies bodies whenever you throw TNT at 'em. Gonna have to make 'em fly along with all that red rain. rawr

I wanna see brains flying everywhere

:D I see proggress... Nice job so far. Not to insult you or anything, but the bloody saw is not that realistic (misproposional), just look at the handle...

Yeah, I know, I was experemeting with that one. I'll put it in the list of re-do canadates, I don't want to let myself get bogged down just yet. We'll see how things look when they get in to the maps and E1M1 is gold.

For the most part yes. I did rip the zombie for the barrel, the rest is original, done by hand stuff. I'll always use the original as a refrence pic. Some times I'll use an original as a base for the correct collors and work from there.

I'll use a texture some times, if it seems apropriate. I think you can tell where I've done so in the past. Some times I'll use part of an image I've found off Google image search; the plant leaves, the clock face and that rust on the saw for example. I really need to get a camera and start building my own texture base.
