GZDoom
GZDoom is a fun little Doom engine, basically it supports ZDoom fully but also has more graphical features. It also has compatability with Vavoom. I took the time to take a few screenshots of a test map demonstrating its lighting and geometry capabilities, though mildly illustrated. The page may be a bit slow to load due to the size of the screenshots, but I thought it was cool enough to share.

Yeah, Jdoom is best for singleplay really. Hi-res textures, weapon and enemy MD2s.... bloody good stuff! GZDoom does look pretty cool though in it's own right though!
Speaking of Jdoom... Perhaps someone could help me on a slight problem please? See, I'm using the Jdoom resource pack, and as great as it is, there's one slight annoyance. The shotguns pump in the opposite direction! The SG pumps to the right, while the SSG pumps to the left... Is there anyway to reverse this?

Well as far as I know jDoom cant do actual 3d floors (as demonstrated by the slime room and 3 other shots) which is the real accomplishment here.
I mean this is pretty good 3d. As is this (note the slime, the primary walkway, and the redkey).
Nevermind
jDoom looks nice, but GZDoom REALLY opens the engine up with the true 3d ontop of ZDooms scripting and modification abilities, and then gives it jDooms graphics (beyond just dynamic lights, hence the possibility of point lights used in the maps actual creation).
I mean this thing is looking to be the DarkPlaces of Doom in terms of graphics and extensability.
