Cryptic Passage is definitely awesome, but I'd say that Duke Caribbean: Life's a Beach was extremely good and Sunstorm's 2nd best, certainly better than Duke it Out in D.C. Also if I remember correctly, Route 66 wasn't bad either. IMO Wanton Destruction lacks a bit of polish. The "reskin" of a Ninja enemy into tokyo-style-yakuza dude was a kind of meh and they have the most annoying sounds, even the roaming ones, and you hear all that over and over and over. I dunno, I tried Wanton Destruction several times, and something seemed off about it.

Like the fact it was never actually finished perhaps?

I will admit to not having spent enough time with Life's a Beach to pass much of a judgement on it, that I thought Nuclear Winter was by them when it was actually by Simply Silly Software, and that I had forgotten completely that Suckin' Grits On Route 66 even existed, so I may very well have been talking out of my hat. I have never even gotten past the first episode of Redneck Rampage though, so it is not high on my radar.

Yeah Redneck Rampage is quirky game for sure. Yes Nuclear Winter is kinda garbage.

Regarding Wanton Destruction I had a thought the other day if somebody could revert the altered enemy graphics and sounds back to the original ones, but leave the levels and the new art intact. I know I could probably easy do it myself but just I'm super lazy lately.

Speaking of SW add-ons, there was another one planned, called Deadly Kiss. And apparently that data is also recovered and being cobbled together for a release or something.

Oh, it was also by Simply Silly software... And again for some reason decision is to redraw some enemies :D

Clocking in at just over five hours, that completes my final go of Max Payne 2 set to Dead on Arrival difficulty:

Other than when it limited my saves, I did not really notice that much difference between the three modes.

Did you know that the Holy Roman Empire conquered Jerusalem and won the Third Crusade? No? What do you mean that never happened?

I think I won the last of the Age of Kings campaigns in style. 8)

Well, the first three Descent games since they came back to GOG.com at last, Shadow Warrior Classic Redux since they put up a Linux port, as well as quite a few other games on discount.

I am not kidding about that backlog though. I am drowning in them.

I'm the same. Lot's of games I need to play but no time. Plus all the modding gets in the way of any gaming time I may come across. Expect a huge update on The Circus of Blood project very soon by the way.
