I haven't tried in a while but I remember for sure MP didn't work but the single player part, IIRC, didn't work either, but I could be wrong on the single player.

Condemned: Criminal Origins

I finished the game Saturday, so I then started a new game on the hardest skill and set rules for myself.

Melee only, no guns.
No tazer... ever.
Find all birds and find all metal pieces.

I'm up to the third chapter and have followed each rule.

Makes the game more interesting when when you can't run into someone's face with a shotgun and unload it.
And removing the tazer... a lot more difficult with enemies that have guns.

Valkyrie Profile is taking me FOREVER. You wouldn't really think a game where you can skip the entire game outside of the first and last dungeons would take 50+ hours, but I'm way past that by now...

VP2 isn't looking too great though. Not yet anyway. New battle system is just not as fun (running? lame), storyline is confusing the hell out of me ("prequel that doesn't lead to the sequel," but I don't know too much yet so it's like... what?), and the new crystals are annoying me, though fun to mess with. Try hitting something with one to freeze it then hitting it with another one to teleport at the same time... >>

Just finished playing through System Shock 2 for the first time and it was great. Was very similar in feel to Deus Ex with an enjoyable storyline and some good atmosphere.
Also playing through Need for Speed Most Wanted and Rome Total War.

Finished Valkyrie Profile a few hours ago. So good. Seraphic Gate bonus dungeon now, then I'll watch a B ending speedrun, then I'm definitely gonna start really getting into Silmeria.

Thanks to a thread on the 3DRealms forums... I've been replaying Quake.

The thread is about any connection between Quake and Quake 2, but soon became a discussion about how good Quake is.
I've never been a fan of the first game (with Quake 2 being the best in the series IMO)... but out of fare play I decided to replay the game.

Since I last played it in 1997. :p
