Stiking With Gasoline Rockets Are We?
Sticking with gasoline cans as ammunition for the rocket launcher are we now?

The napalm launcher is not a rocket launcher. No rockets in Blood. Napalm is an acronym derived from NAphtehnic and PALMitic acids whose salts are used in the manufacturing of "napalm". The napalm is used to gelatinize gasoline. It is used in flame throwers, fougasses, aerial bombs... and napalm launchers . When launched, it's like a huge ball of flaming snot - it really sucks to have a ball of that land near you!
I always wondered about the napalm lancher. For instance how come for ammo all you pickup is a can of gasoline. What about the styrofoam? (at least I think thats what napal is made out of)
And how the heck would you reload a napal lancher like the one in Blood? Do you just shove some gasoline soaked styrofoam down the barrel and then the lancher just shoots it out like a cannon?
Are their napal lanchers in real life?
Is the hokey pokey really what its all about?
Maybe I'm reading to much into this weapon.

I'm pretty sure all it take to make napalm is styrofoam and gasoline.Cruaich wrote:Styrofoam? Styrofoam?!!@???!11
This is Blood we're talking about, you use the ground up bones of your enemies to produce the gelatin needed to keep things together...
I guess I was reading to much into the game.predator wrote:Besides it's not meant to be realistic anyway.
You wouldn't run around with 8 weapons plus spraycans, boxes of TNT and ammo, would you?
Thanks for the infoCruaich wrote:Styrofoam is one way to do it, but really anything that you can stir into gas that will eventualy build up a jelly base will do. Palm oil, rubber, jello, soap are all reported as ingredents for home brew naplam. To give it a real nasty, hot burn mix in some magnesium or aluminium powder.

F*cking sick. Don't tell him that!
They just use the gas fumes as a propellant! By obtaining the proper fuel injection to oxygen ratio, an explosive gas is created. Then, it is lit with an electric spark! BOOM! Out flies a wicked ball of flaming napalm. Of course, it wouldn't travel in a straight line like it does in Blood...
