I thought you ment the unused setup theme from the Alpha. I think that song would fit your style excellently.

Maybe it's because I know "Unholy Voices" so well, but the guitar in the beginning feels a little out of place or unpolished.

But I love the drum and bass buildup around 1:40 and 2:00. That guitar part works alot better later on. You can do some pretty radical stuff with guitar and Midi, which is awesome in my book.

Feel i bit like i'm butting in here, having no abilitys that warrent my precence in the mod section of the forum but......

I really like your alterations Darrell very nice :D , in the demo version of
Blood when you did a music test they had a different theam which i loved
for it's wierd sliding guitar it's quite like your style heres a copy of it

id really like to hear other versions that are based on that.

the only complaint i might have with your one here is there are parts
that remind me of some Doom musics but overall it's pretty Bloody

The guitar theme in the Alpha was f*** SWEET, and it wasn't "sliding guitar", (no offense, bro!) but it was frickin awesome.

Darrel, regarding some of those added insturements, I had no idea what you were doing, and at other parts, I really liked what you did. I liked the bass guitar, and the percussion somewhat. (I don't mean to be unkind, only to criticize constructively!! ;) ) I would have liked to hear some subtle but ass-rocking double-bass pedal where you started the drums. Rock on. ;)

You should listen to Dream Theater. They are incredible. I think you would like them. Anyway, here is the original unused guitar midi from Blood.

I was thinking about doing some of the songs on piano and classical and electric guitar. Thanks for the interesting stuff. I loved Blood's music. Very 80's horror synth.

 Bitchin'...
:evillaugh: Possibly the coolest phucking thread EVER. I never heard of Dragonforce, but they are refluckindiculous. Thanks for that. :)

So yeah, that guitar track from Blood is pretty wicked. I'm pretty sure they used a midi converter on a real guitar, (or just the guitar with the synth processor built in). I want one of those guitars that you can make sound like a piano... :D

I have to admit that they (Dragonforce) are really fast, but I wouldn't quite call it boring... I would call it monotonous and partially unentertaining. Dreamtheater (in comparison) is like a tempest of beautiful ideas that takes you on a musical journey to happyland. Dragonforce is like techno, played in real time on instruments. Don't get me wrong, that sh!the was impressive. ;) I must say to all, if you don't like Dreamtheater, just TRY to listen to Metropolis2 all the way through. :D

P.S. Sorry to ramble, I wasn't trying to shoot down Dragonforce, they are pretty respectable (NewZie's glam progressive rock band, hardcore fans of a faded trend :P)

EDIT: Man, I can't get that song out of my head. "Through the Fire and Flames". :) "So far awaayyyyy..."

YOU THINK THAT STUFF WAS COOL? ADD SOME INSPIRATION AND TALENT. CHECK THIS DUDE OUT! His name is Guthrie Govan, and he is staggering, accurately quick, musically graceful. :D

Especially these ones:

Some bastard flagged one of the vids as "inappropriate"... d*ckhead.
