My 18th birthday

Post by Dimebog »

Hey all,

This wednesday it is my 18th birthday. Any chance we could schedule a bloodbath that day? It would realy mean much to me, because I never played Transfusion with real people before.

I'll give it a go, nothing like celebrations with blood.
This is Tf-beta3 we're using, right folks?

Kool :spider:

I have TF 1.01, 1.1bete3 and 1.1beta3.5, but I guess we should use 1.1beta3 (the one with unskinned trees in E1m1).

I just don't know what time would be appropriate for majority of players.

Wednesday? Any time after 9:30pm EST for myself, though dont let me hold it up by any means. Wednesday is just my busy day each week.

I can maybe squeeze it in in the 3-5pm EST range if need be, that area is just a little cramped for me.

beta3 sounds good, hope my connection is good that day.

I'll be out most of the day at a friend's house, but I'll try to stop in for, oh, maybe an hour.

Spill some birthday blood... Good idea.

The best time for me is between 21 and 22 GMT, but anytime would work really.

Same here.
The server will be up for the whole day, as I said, but I'll be joining somewhere between 20-23 GMT.

Does our birthday celebrant have any map requests?
I'll be happy to adjust the map list to your liking. It's your birthday after all. :)

Yes! I taught you would never ask... E1m1 is my FAVOURITE! Other maps are ok, like E1m7 - really suitable for bloodbathing, and I don't know... All working maps are cool with me as long as there is E1m1 in the list! The one that comes with Beta3 has unfinished trees but other than that, everything else works just fine, so I guess we will be using that one rather than one that comes with Beta3.5...

e1m1? I haven't seen that in ages :(
Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it Wednesday as the latest I could possibly plays is 19:30 GMT (I think CDT is only -5)

9:30pm EST

Man I need to learn this time zone crap... Can anyone tell me what time that would be in Australia? Just in general at least.

(And if anyone could tell me all about EST GTM and stuff.... that'd be great thanks. )

Edit: DAMNIT! I missed out on the 666 mark! Ok, carry on.

Right now, EST is actually on EDT (daylights saving time)
EST is GMT - 5, but EDT (the same physical zone) is GMT -4
so 9:30PM (21:30) EDT is 01:30 the next morning in GMT and roughtly 11:30 AM the next morning in Australia
