1. PLEASE REMOVE the cd key authorization requirement!!!!!! it's just a simple console/config file command.

2. PLEASE INSTALL Challenge Pro Mode Arena, after you play a bit CPMA the "original" Q3 would feel like a slug fest.

thanks :)

Hey Dekkion, I'm glad to hear you like my maps. :)
I'll be happy to join your server on Sunday, when I get back home.

As for CPMA - yes, it's a good mod, plays a lot better than vanilla Q3A, but I would encourage everyone to play my maps under Painkeep Arena mod - those maps support that mod (new entities).

As for Twin Fortress, you are right, there's no TF in my map packs, I was going to create it at some point but never really got to it ( blame Transfusion  )

It's so hard to get Q3 these days, but luckily I ordered the Quad Damage Pack from idsoftware.com (comes with all 4 quakes)

That's good, see you on the server then. :)
In the past 2 weeks our Painkeep community had lots of fun playing on this server.
Good battles. Bloody battles.

By the way, you can always check the server's status here.

Its not hard to get Q3A at all, theres the ultimate Quake pack for purchase at Best Buy and similar, or at id software. If you cant be arsed to purchase something online, then you obviously dont want it that much...

I'll give the server a go tonight or tomorrow sometime, depending on free time after work. I'm still yet to try Painkeep Arena or CPMA.

i don't want to bother getting it.

i mean, it's not that hard, to set this in server cfg file:

set sv_strictAuth "0" or something like that...

there are tons of such servers out there :)
