I'm hoping you're not sarcastic, since I'm going to respond seriously. :wink:

If you reverse it, it says "to win the game you must defeat me, John Romero" or something along those lines. Of course, you're not SUPPOSED to see that it's John Romero's head, you're just supposed to see a wall that looks kinda like a monster with a hole in its forehead, that you're presumably going to shoot rockets into. :P

The head was a prank from the artists and coders to the mappers and namely Romero. The sound was a prank from the mappers and Bobby Prince to the coders and artists.

Ahhh, ok. Thanks. Kinda drove my ends for a little while...

Speaking of which, why did they cut The Icon of Sin out from the console versions? Or well... the PSX version anyway.

I don't much care, thing is no more than a textured wall anyways. If I had to guess I'd say it spawns too many enemies, or they couldn't get it to work right.
