.wav to CD audio

Post by Slink »

Hey, all. Anyone know of a simple, free software program that converts .wav sound files to CD audio?

Thanks!

Most CD programs will burn wav files directly as AudoCD tracks, you just have to find in your burning program where the AudoCD setting is. Alot will also do mixed media (ie the Blood CD)

You can even copy your wav/mp3 files and paste them on the CD using My Computer (if you are using XP or higher). You will be asked weather you wish to burn them as CD audio or data.

If you want some free CD burners, you can always try.

CDBurnerXP - http://cdburnerxp.se/
ImgBurn - http://www.imgburn.com/ **I've had some read errors with this one... though it may be my drive.

"Burn"? I was sure EAC can only convert audio tracks to img files, but you have to burn them with another program. But if you say it works then it should de a perfect solution.

Yes, EAC burns audio CDs fine. It can even edit wavs prior to burning them and remove some noise. Handy sometimes.
Generally a very good program.
