Nice concept screen Wrim. The animations on the Blood help screen always made it look like Blood would make a kickass side-scroller. An RPG would be fun too.

Obligatory note: So long as it stays a "concept" I won't have to move it into the xenoBlood group.

A bit of progress with Blender. I got caught up trying to do a polar array in Blender the way I was used to doing it back in the day with AutoCAD.... didn't work so well. I did a mock-up of the spiked log in Blender 2.5 that I'm happy with. Now to get it in scale with the original image, and animate...

They did Borderlands. I've not had a chance to play it, but my friends like it a lot. I could see them doing a decent job of it if they just have to finish up what was already done.

I'll have to read the news release, but I wonder if they are going to be able to use the existing materials that have already been made for it, or if they are going to have to create from scratch.

The postMortem folks are working on that with their C2G project, Tim. Dimebog was trying to get a hold of you, to ask questions about your map2map converter.

Kick ass!

I could definitely see an updated version of the train map (e1m3) taking advantage of an idTech4 map like that.

The physics look fun to!

Thanks Willis. I'll follow up on that. I was also poking around the Xonotic forums and found reference to the ASE model format. Do you know anything about it? I didn't see anything about it on the DP wiki.

IQMs for Transfusion?

After poking around some, Ive been told to try using the IQM format for our models. The developer's kit can be found here: http://lee.fov120.com/iqm/ It does have plug-ins for Blender, but I've not been able to get it to work with the Blender 2.5 beta. I imagine that I'm doing something wrong, but t...

I've yet to export even a simple cube into a format that DarkPlaces supports from Blender. But I'm not giving up!

TIM! How's it been?

I think it's still the quake3 format.

As to what needs doing... I'm just going to focus on models some, I'll let the mappers answer that.

Yeah, but that's really not our place. At one time, we did have a Spanish gaming magazine that wanted to distribute Transfusion with their monthly CD and we thought that was fine; as we felt that it was basically like offering shareware on CD. Steam itself might be akin to that situation, but we don...

MusoSpuso, welcome to the forums. As I understand it, Atari still owns the publish rights to Blood and has recently employed those rights by allowing GoG.com to sell digital copies of Blood on their behalf. Just to clarify any questions about what IP rights Transfusion has on Blood... it doesn't. Tr...

I am going to temporarily (for a week or two) disable guest posting in "Transfusion Development". The bots are getting to be annoying.
