Okay people, calm down. For some reason this issue is really stirring up more trouble than it is worth. I think the main problem here is every one is taking things to personally. And it is because of this that these conversations often lead into realms of insults and vulgarity. To the people critici...

Yes, it is quite nice to see how everyone is calmly discussing this given how heated it got over at Posty. I was wondering about the legal status of Transfusion myself a few times, and it is nice to see it being cleared up here. Maybe there should be a page discussing the legal status of Transfusion...

Gideon's Two Cents

Hello one and all, it is I Gideon of the Blood Wiki again (posting as Tchernobog since guest doesn't work anymore). You haven't seen me ever since my brother took over as the Blood Wiki PR person. I have come just to say how much this saddens me. I only joined the Blood community a year ago, but loo...

Hey zZaRDoZz, how have you been? zZaRDoZz, I have respect for you in this community. Don't fall into the roleplaying Postmortem elitist mindset. They can claim to love Blood all they want but they routinely go overboard with flaming and spewing nonsense about people who create Blood-related project...

Finally installed Fedora on my old desktop computer. My Wife has hijacked the laptop, so I've been without for a while. It's been 3 days and I've yet to get the video drivers installed for the nVidia card I have. First I had to break out of XWindows to install the drivers apperntly Alt+Ctrl+F2 for ...

Heh. Looks like most people want F.E.A.R. 3 Well. there is a difference between want and expect. I am sure that almost everyone on this forum would rather have a Blood3 of course, but they expect a F.E.A.R 3 (after all, the thread is called "What game sequel do you expect Monolith to do next?"). Recently I have been playing Prey and been going through some Return to Castle Wolfenstein again. I also played some Duke Nukem 3D using EDuke last night.

*Hopes for a Linux port for the upcoming Wolfenstein

Yeah, I didn't know about the Return of the Blind Dead movies until today either. No one's perfect.. Hey, dont worry about it Dusty, after a year of searching for Linux shooters I did not find Shogo until I was browsing the Wikipedia Category "Games for Linux"... I've used Linux in t...

It's a solid engine, but I hate how "stiff" it "feels" to play. I can't stand the gloss mapping in this game! UGH! They could have toned that down a bit. Everything is glossy! :-x People are shiny... Gotta give id software credit on the game tho. Honestly, I never enjoyed it very much. It was a lit...

*Being the Dark God Tchernobg, I use my powers to bring this thread back from the dead* Doom3 in my mind is one of the better games released more recently. I mostly play older games from the 1990's, and Doom3 is one of the few relatively recent games that I was impressed with. If you are looking for...

Wow, really? Because Prey was BUUUUNNNNK. Bawt it for $5, played it once. Not again. :) So how do they port those games to Linux? Is there some DirectX alternative for Linux to which D3D games must be ported to run with similar graphics? -Slink When a DirectX game gets ported to Linux, the 3D Rende...

A bit after Blood II and Shogo were released, Lith had a guy going by the name Loki who was keen on doing Lithtech server port for Linux. I'm not sure if it was ever finished. I don't remember hearing much about if afterward. As for Lith's current Linux aspirations, it's hard to say, things seem mo...

I am a little sceptical about some of this "Shogo 2" rumours. Though there does seem to be some sort of pattern emerging, they have been rumours like this before (Such as whena LithTech 3.0 video came out). If there is a Shogo 2, all I can say is it better be ported to Linux. The only place you real...
