Re: Jace Hall's Blood project at posty.
I don't know how it is possible (well... I can guess), but I managed to miss this news entirely! My pants fell down spontaneously when I read about it. It seems like there is no news since the last update from Jason that he's trying to figure things out with Atari. I kinda like the ZDaemon developer...

Re: Multiplayer
Check the BloodBath HowTo for Blood multiplayer with DOSBox: http://forums.transfusion-game.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1149 Depending on the connection between you and the other player, this might prove to be a bit laggy, however. Alternatively, if you are very tech-savvy, you can try the followin...

Re: Unity3d
I think Blender is great for modeling, but I would never make a complete game in it. The main reason being the heavy platform dependence you introduce with it.
Also I think "coding" with this draggy/droppy UI is quickly going to turn to hell.

Re: Unity3d
From the Unity website: "The free full version of Unity is available for Windows or Mac OS X." So that's basically a no-go. This Unity product feels very legacy-heavy, but that's just from my first impression off their website. Coding in something other than QuakeC would be a relief to be ...

So I was DOSBoxing the other day...
The other day I joined a LAN party (through a VPN) from another country and since we wanted to play some old school games, we needed a proper way of playing DOSBox games, we were looking for a proper IPX/SPX to TCP/IP solution for this. I believe the built-in solution for this in DOSBox is some kind...

Yeah I was looking about with ARTEDIT and EDITART a bit. The former doesn't seem to be able to export anything and the latter just gave me a black screen when I quickly tried it. Maybe a command line arg or something to be added (?). Sound isn't exactly a pressing matter for the time being, but of c...

Extracting GFX, audio etc
Hello my fellow bloodites! Fluent time has floated past since we last met. I have dwelled back into this lair to ask for specialized advice... I'm thinking about doing a sort of side-scrolling 2D Blood-inspired shooting game. And my idea for this project was to extract the graphics and audio (sound ...

Ah, hey Weezle. Good to see you, Sir. I'm still working on my Blood campaign and am still very active. Just keeping a low profile. :) Greetings Necrosis. I can't remember when it was, but a long time ago a Bloodite posted a link to a review (which contained a link to the game itself). It's a shame ...

Been a while since I've posted here, but I have to say I agree with Willis. Not only is it unlikely that people who have no experience with Blood will be able to code this type of thing (because you code>compile>see how it feels>code etc), it also is kind of unfair to the folks around here who are w...
