Re: Blood2 extra-crispy, new mod
There is a belief among some that more firepower for player equals better gameplay. I've always felt the opposite was true for b2. Later in several b2 mods the baddies start showing up with more high powered weaponry in the second and third episodes. For all it's issues, voodoo14 got it right to my ...

Re: Bllod 2 editing tools- setup not working
I started winrez experimentation 2 years ago with xp sp2 and had no problems either. The only major difference between then and now was an upgrade to sp3.

Meh, There is no way to sign the license agreement without running setup.
I'm not posting anything unless there's another way.

Blood 2 editing tools- setup not working
I dl'ed the b2 editing tools and found that setup wouldn't work no matter the permissions granted or compatibility mode setting. I'm assuming this is my punishment for upgradinng xp to service pack 3. Anyway, what I'd like to know if if anyone running vesta or 7 has the same problem. If so I have an...

Erlic said: I do think so. I would be surprised if the agreement we have cover anything more than our little own project formerly called qBlood (now Transfusion 1.x). And I doubt anyone would want to pay the legal fees to find out in case the owner of the Blood trademark (whoever this is now) comes ...

Blood2 extra-crispy, new mod
It seems we have a new b2 mod in the works by Vgames. Most of the changes stem from the FXenhancer but the high res texture pack is nice.

Why Transfusion matters. Here's the link to the DW thread. http://www.doomworld.com/vb/source-ports/56289-zenimax-issue-takedown-of-js-doom-port/ I'm copy/pasting an entire OP from Doomworld to insure everyone knows just how critical Tfn's quit-claim license is. I understand I may have hit a nerve with this. I hope at least this thread made some of you think about the future. Blood fans deserve a legally modifiable game.

Re: Transfusion: a new beginning.
=\ hmmmmm.... I understand that lump-in-the-throat feeling some of you might be experiencing because of my first post. Some of you or the close friends of some of you spent 100's, possibly 1000's of hours into Transfusion, struggling with all the skill and devotion you could muster into making Tfn a...

Transfusion: a new beginning.
Greetings friends and fellow blood fans. Roughly 10 years ago Transfusion was started in order to solve a dilemma; the computer hardware of the time was increasingly less able to run the DOS based game Blood and it was hoped that porting this Monolith title to a true, open source, 3D engine would re...

Re: Blood movie project
Don't be afraid to use in-studio sounds over ambient stuff recorded on location. If you get all the video editing up to a high quality you can still ruin the feel of your work with low end, single microphone, in situ type audio.
