Re: DEATH WISH • New Bloatoid Add-On
We'll start seeing quite a bit more in the future I think thanks to all the work being put into the various porting efforts. This might even be playable with bloodxl if lucius has his way. If a map converter could be hard coded into C2G's version of duke32 (not planned for unfortunately) it would be...

Re: bBloODfFreEk sample mod for blood2
Joe, if you're referring to that coop map of the house , constantly in-spawning baddies, and the helicopter, I've already tried it. voodoo14 and DarkAct have there own seperate dlls and as we both know, only one Cshell dll can be in control. Your next move would be to get the ZOMBIES.REZ SD model ou...

Re: bBloODfFreEk sample mod for blood2
One of the reasons I stopped working on bBloodfFreek was every other improvement was a down hill affair. It was the work of others that I combined and added to that got the souldrudge in better shape. There are many things that can be done with modeledit, sounds can be added to falls, pain animation...

bBloODfFreEk sample mod for blood2
Tchernobog wanted to see what bBlooDfFreEk was like. So here's the sSouLfFrEek sample platter. This rez uses Voodoo14 as a base, therefore it requires the nightmare levels to be installed. For those of you as fearful of console commands as I am, I've included a save and custom game folder that you c...

Re: How Many People Are Needed to Finish TRANSFUSION?
Wow, 99 developers huh? Let's see, that's 33 quakeC coders, 33 level designers, and of course 33 modelers/ texture artists. Transfusion would be done in about 6 months. 2 months of that would be nothing but bug hunting and polishing. :) The challenges provided by reality are still sobering though. L...

Re: Blood 2 editing tools- setup not working
Okay, there are a couple of p*ss poor solutions but most fans have higher system specs than mine so here's what can be done.
If you have xp, you can make a partition on your drive that uses the FAT32 format. Install the tools there and run setup.
Running an older OS or freedoom in DosBox also works.

Re: Blood 2 editing tools- setup not working
Might as well ad the B2 source code. The installer for that isn't working either.

Re: Blood2 extra-crispy, new mod
Thanks for getting things back on track. :D I've noticed on my system at least that it's your gfx card's d3d that works best with extra crispy. The generic b2 renderer and software mode don't benefit much at all. @tcherny I've just realized that you shouldn't mix various saved games from different m...

For the record, Neurological promised to create musical tracks for Blood 2 Resurrection back in 2008. I was under the impression that these tracks were exclusive to B2R, as he himself indicated they were.
The defense takes a well earned rest.

Re: Blood movie project
I thought Fuhrzzy would be happy once Hypertension shut down. Apparently he's been harassing anyone who does anything with neurological's music or b2 for that matter. Vgames, author of that extra crispy mod, is reporting similar run-ins.

Re: Blood2 extra-crispy, new mod
All quotes are by Tchernobog. As for Voodo14, it is certainly a lot more subtle. I was unable to play the first level as you described as when using this mod it would cause WINE to spit out an error and close, though this is not a fault of the mod as it does the same thing if you do certain things ...

Re: Blood2 extra-crispy, new mod
It is the least regarded for some odd reason. Player starts with a voodoo doll that heals damage and a flayer with slightly more range. Needless to say the mod requires the nightmare addon be activated. I'm sure Gamefront doesn't appreciate me linking to a personal download page so get it while it's...
