Painkiller's rollercoaster was the most annoying part of that game. Don't do that, and I'm happy. :/

It does. I have a 40gb and yes I miss some of the features of the earlier models, but yeah it's workable. I don't really care for backwards compatibility since I need to keep my PS2 around anyway to play imports.

That is what it was.

I've since changed to "Pray Man champion of the Nun" because I let someone else use Bake Man as he cared more and he then suggested this... we may switch back since he prefers this one.

I just realized I should mention, I still have a free Half-Life 2 to give out since buying The Orange Box, so if anyone wants that, I've had it laying around since September, I don't mind just sending it off to the first person who asks. >>

I was talking to people about installing linux on PS3, and how it would probably be the best. A joke came up in the conversation, and I'm actually wondering now if it's possible to install Windows 3.1 on the PS3 or even anything remotely similar. :V

Well two people I play TF2 with go by:

Day Man champion of the Sun (the original and an entirely different joke)
and
happy Man champion of the Fun (poking fun at him)

So I just ripped them off for lulz. I normally go by <Wv>Necrosis<TWM>, but lulz are good too.

I do believe the PS3 is region free.

Also yeah honestly I do prefer PC too, but you can't get console exclusives on PC. :/

I haven't changed it since I signed up here, but I've been meaning to, actually. Just because the reference I came up with this one based on doesn't really work on other forums and in online play. :V

And why not? It's got good games. They may not be MUST HAVE good but there are some fun games on here. For example, I really like Folklore, even though all I heard before playing it was that it was terrible and there's no reason to own a PS3 when you could be playing [stolenjoke]Call of Halo 5: Gear...

Well, yeah, I mean there are a whole bunch of games that require some stuff to be installed, out of the ones I own I think it's just Folklore and Resistance or something, but it's not like you're copying an entire blu-ray disc to your hard drive. It may add up eventually, but unless you have a ton o...

I heard like one good thing and one bad thing about it. This is just someone else's opinion and not mine. Good: "The graphics are amazing!" Bad: "You have to install the games onto the hard drive!" So yeah, if you're just getting it for the Linux to play DOSBox then that's prett...

Well, I have it, and I actually really like it in general, but yeah I don't have Linux on it. I can't say I can help there.

PSX Doom had the same levels as PC IIRC, in fact I think it had both Doom and Doom 2's levels.

Gila wrote:in multiplayer i prefer no music. in good multiplayer fps, you should hear your opponent and what he's doing :)
And this is a good point. Personally though I like having the music there, I don't play FPS too well either way. >>
