"I'm feeling lucky this Christmas" eigh? I really would like to see it happen. I just don't see how they could let a commercial project lag behind so much. :-/ Apparently before the falling out with Take Two it was scheduled to have gone gold on April 1st of this year. So there was a plan...

As I am still not exactly sure what is meant by the re-purposing, I am not sure If I still count as a "nay" actually. As far as I am aware this would allow people to contribute content which is not directly Blood related to the project, yes? As long as the main project goal is still there,...

the whole point of this project was to bring our beloved Blood to a "Open Source Code" as we could not get our hands on the true original source code. That is a very good point which seems to have somehow been forgotten in this thread. Transfusion can be considered the direct successor of...

Well, I will admit to ignorance on the technical front here. I am personally not a big fan of DarkPlaces though mostly because the games made on it really fail to impress me as a player. Transfusion is by far the best game made with it, I never got what was supposed to be so great about Nexuiz. They...

Nexuiz Gets Forked, Turned Into Xonotic

Looks like our DarkPlaces brethren is going through even more changes:

Well, if you can not do id Tech 4, it probably would not be too difficult I imagine to port it over to ioquake3. This also means it would be easy to put Transfusion content on to Smokin' Guns and vice versa. I am sure Caleb would feel quite at home there. :P

Instead of trying to do it as a command why don't you try to open up the autoexec.cfg in you Blood II directory and add the line "MaxFPS" "30" or "MaxFPS" "50" in there? I had a similar problem with Shogo on my Linux box (not quite as drastic as yours though, ...

I assume there is going to be a third at some point, it being a Trilogy and all?

Nay: Finish replicating Blood. I like the Transfusion project as it is, a stand-alone multi-platform 3D Blood game. I see very little reason to change goals now, especially considering, as leileilol so kindly pointed out, this is the only project legally aloud to recreate Blood. The train that reach...

Well, they already do have plenty of big names studios going for them such as id and Blizzard, hell, even plenty of Microsoft Game studios properties end up on the Mac. So, I do not think this will change the stakes that much for them. Though Steam being ported in particular is a big win for them, t...
