Re: Frozen Nightmares
Thanks for the software rec Tchernobog! :D I'll give it a go and see if it can run Lighthouse: The Dark Being (a solid Myst clone) later. Speaking of DosBox, I get decent framerate when running Blood but lags when recording (perhaps a stronger graphics card/processor will help?) Maybe then I would h...

Re: Frozen Nightmares
I run Windows XP and 95% of DOS games that can't run naturally I run through DosBox (Sierra games absolutely refuse to run through.) I sometimes get nostalgic about older Win95/98 and I think I even had 2000 at one point. Games back then seemed much simpler and charming. Most newer games don't draw ...

Re: Frozen Nightmares
Sorry for the head explosion Tchernobog!
The processor is an AMD Sempron 3000+ and I have 1.81GHz, 448 of RAM.
Yeah, it browses the Internet quite nice actually but it lags if some fancy graphic on a site starts running. I'm still glad I have it though, modern games or not.

Re: Atari filing for bankruptcy.....AGAIN
This is actually a post duplicate Joe: http://forums.transfusion-game.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2548 About Jason Hall, he was in discussion with Atari regarding the rights and his updated version of Blood, right? I hope this won't interfere with Blood's future negativity as an open source (I thin...

Re: Atari filing for bankruptcy.....AGAIN
Speaking of Atari, is there a site that I can find the status of IPs/rights of video game franchieses (including Japanese), ILA? A while ago, Blood's IP "died" and no one could make another Blood-related product (I'm probably wrong as I don't remember everything exactly, correct me if I am...

Re: Frozen Nightmares
I have a SiS 760 if I am not mistaken. I had a software once refer to it as "ancient" before  . It plays Blood quite well and other old games, but I'm pretty sure it can't handle modern games (it can't run Transfusion at all.) It serves it's purpose though because I have little intere...

Re: Frozen Nightmares
Wish my computer could play it (runs a very old card) as I had a interest in horror themes in FPS games lately (E3M1 of Death Wish comes to mind). Nice to see the Thompson being used even if it's in 2025.

Re: BLOOD 1/2 Title Fonts
It's kind of Impact, but not quite. Does anyone know who the artist of this fan art is? How did he manage to get the font to look just like BLOOD 1's font? Blood Wiki says it's Willis of the DeathMask site (he made that Transfusion wallpaper.) I believe he's still around but hasn't posted anything ...

Re: Jace Hall's Blood project at posty.
So much for all the rights issues being settled... Ah well, I wish him the best of course. :) Ditto. Let's all hope for the best, it's a rare thing when an official like Jace Hall tries to bring back a game over 10 (?) years old. Blood is a great franchisee and truly deserves more than it go...

Re: How to extract stuff from Blood alpha`s RFF archive?
I also played around and made a couple of Doom II levels using a nice Unix only map editor called Yadex back in the day. Nothing really special, but I had some fun and actually found it easier to use than Doombuilder. If anyone is interested, below is probably the most polished map I ever made with...

Re: How to extract stuff from Blood alpha`s RFF archive?
As I said before in another thread here, I did have an interest in ZBlood a while ago. At the time, original Blood couldn't work on my computer and it served as a temporary fix until I got it working again thanks to some help from the internet. All the cool features from high quality ZDoom/GZDoom mo...

Potentially dosgamer000, although if they did they must have done it for the original Postal as well: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b2/Postal_Coverart.png http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/4f/Postal_2_cover.png http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c6/Blood2_cover.jpg The...

Re: BLOOD 1/2 Title Fonts
I think the Blood 1 font is called Desdemona. As for the Blood 2 one, it looks like type writer font (I think the same is used for the Postal 2 box title.) The "BLOOD 2" and "THE CHOSEN" perhaps look different because "BLOOD 2" is lowercase and smaller text and "TH...

Re: Blood movie project
Man, that looks awesome! :D Great to know this project is still going strong! It really makes me happy as a Bloodite to see people are still doing things for Blood. Is that a hotel Caleb is in? It kinda reminds me of the first level of the third episode in Blood (you know the huge town with the red ...
