Re: Is this still alive?

I guess some of them might be hidden in the .wad of the very first quake mod? But I have so far focussed on the other things. Overall I made some good progress and it is working fine except for the in-game HUD which needs some major changes. I thought I would be able to finish something before the e...

Re: Transfusion VR (GearVR & Cardboard)

I actually mirrored the code of the Cardboard port of Darkplaces here: https://github.com/poVoq/Quake-1-Cardboard-Port-QVR However after playing around with it for a while (Quake1 works nicely with a Bt controller), I have come to the conclusion that it is not really a suitable option for Tranfusion...

Re: Is this still alive?

Blood's 20th anniversary is coming up next year (it was first released May 31st 1997). Would be neat if we could get something related to Transfusion running again :) I have actually started "porting" it to the much cooler FTEQW engine (also quake1 based like DarkPlaces). "Porting&quo...

Transfusion VR (GearVR & Cardboard)

Someone recently ported the Darkplaces engine to Android and Cardboard VR (as well as Sansung GearVR): Seems to work pretty well ( https://youtu.be/7Jui2Dpj65k ), and given the engine also runs Transfusion (and Xonotic) it should be possible to get it working. https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta...

CSQC Menu and hud

Hi ;) I would like to implement a new hud system with client-side QC as a learning experience into Transfusion, based on this tutorial: http://forums.inside3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=1560 Optimally the end result would be a version of TF that runs on the newest Darkplaces engine, as the hud is I think a...

Do you have much experience with Google Code in comparison to Source forge, or are you just throwing it out there? I'm just asking because I'm not intimately familiar with the features each of the services offer. More or less just throwing it out there :zombie: But if you just want to make developm...

You could also sort of use our FreeGameDev Art search:
http://search.freegamedev.net/
Which supports projects, svn/cvs and screenshots etc.

Otherwise, what about a google.code page?

Ahh so my little post has gotten some attention here as well ;) FreeGamer is actually a blog where currently three writers are involved, and that little article was done by me :) In fact I recently also posted a thread on the Nexuiz board concerning the possible coordination between the two projects...
