Blood 2 and SHOGO Reviews from PC Gamer's Past

Hey, guys. Amidst this turbulent time, I thought you guys might appreciate these artifacts. They're PC Gamer's reviews for Blood 2 and SHOGO straight from the archives of PC Gamer's old websites. The link for Blood 1's review sadly doesn't work. Thought you'd find it interesting to see how Blood's s...

Re: Blood: Fresh Supply

I played a little bit of Fresh Supply. It's fun, with maybe a few odd things in its mechanics. I wish that Nightdive would've allowed for Fresh Supply to have more save slots than the original. I'm one of those players who likes to save his progress after each level, especially after getting all the...

Re: What game are you currently playing?

I currently beat Myth: The Fallen Lords (or more accurately, The Fallen Levels plugin for Myth II) on Legendary with no casualties, and I'm trying to beat Myth II: Soulblighter on Legendary. It's amazing that the developers of Halo were responsible for these games. Myth's like a tactical early 3D eq...

Re: Spam bot scourge

Good going, Tcherny. Now you have supreme power! :) How're doing yourself, comrade? I miss discussing Blood stuff with you guys. I'm still drawing, and I've also been writing on the side. I've occasionally been visiting other forums under different aliases. Some of the other game forums I've been to...

Re: What game are you currently playing?

The games I've played lately were Robin Hood: Legend of Sherwood, and Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive. I started playing them after I discovered Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, which I discovered after playing Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, which was influenced by all the aforementioned games...

Re: [MOD] BLOOD WEAPONS MOD V3.0

Good going on your weapons mod, NoOne! It makes sense to use the Ripper Heart from Shadow Warrior as a voodoo weapon. Though I liked what the Heart in Shadow Warrior did do, I still wished that it was used to inflict pain on enemies by squeezing it instead of summoning a clone of yourself. I also li...

Re: ...The Circus of Blood...

Good going, N0t_mINe! And praise be to the bloody master VGames! I look forward to see where your Blood-y experiment shall lead! I never got to play Psycho Circus, but I did check out video walkthroughs of the game. I'm glad that the engine for KISS: PC has some flexibility to it. I'm curious what o...

Thank you very much, My Lord Tchernobog!!! :D I'm glad my description for that picture made you laugh.

It is always good to be blessed by the One Who Binds, as well as to be uploaded to the Blood Wiki. There'll be more to come.

Re: Hypothetical Blood 3 Art from The BEAST

Hey BEAST! I don't remember a good number of these highly stylized works from your previous presentation. Are they new? Is my idea of a "Crimson Mage' for COB something I picked up from you or Steven King? But even King salutes the greats in his work. The purple piper plays his tune, The choir...

Hypothetical Blood 3 Art from The BEAST

Blessed are the blood drinkers of Transfusion! Hey, gang. Awhile ago, I'd did some concept art which showcased how I visualized Blood 3 from my own primitive marker style. I've done a few more, and I wanted to share it with you guys. B3 #1 This pic shows Caleb wandering an abandoned haunted house ro...

Re: Blood 2 Classic - Total Conversion for Blood

As someone who also longs to see a Blood 2 mod for Eduke or Blood Crossmatching, good work, JoJo! Duke fans remade parts of Duke Nukem Forever in Eduke, why not Blood 2? There's so much you can pull off in Eduke, I think Blood 2's world would definitely feel more complete in a Build-sprite-based eng...

Re: Tech Idea for Blood 3

I am intrigued by your work, caleb88! :D What engine do you use? I like that your work resembles Blood 1's look and feel, but with voxel-like 3D sprites. It reminds me somewhat of Voxelstein 3D and bits of Transfusion. It reminds me a little bit too of Diablo II, in that its engine was still sprite-...

Re: Dusk...looks promising

Holy crap man good ideas. Dusk could be so much more. Wish I had more say so but hopefully we can channel our ideas in the dev teams direction. Thanks, man. It may be too late to provide input. I just hope the finished product will exceed expectations. BEAST said: "Quake-like" That might ...

Re: Dusk...looks promising

Blood is an acquired taste. I happen to love hit scanners, most people however, want projectiles they can dodge. Mid level baddies that can put the hurt on player are golden, especially when they move fast. In fact, an enemy that can match player's speed is a must. And flying! There must be enemies...

Re: Dusk...looks promising

I also discovered Dusk through this video, too. Gggmanlives's reviews and previews are fun to watch. :) I hoped to play the demo after seeing this, but it was pulled from public access. I don't know how other You Tube critics got their hands on it in time. It's expecting a Steam release for 2017, bu...
