The thread has been on Posty for months, and my first post there is to express my full support. Then I remained completely silent until the ridiculous things started happening and all the false advertisement. Still, I don't remember warranting any insults. I tried to be civil and focus on BLOOD. Bac...

Yes, it is quite nice to see how everyone is calmly discussing this given how heated it got over at Posty. Indeed. I only wonder how calm would you remain if he called you an extreme fanboy living in a cave. It's alright to insult every member of Postmortem, we got used to that kind of thing, right...

If 150 downloads can be called a success... Hopefully Episode 2 will be downloadable exclusively from ModDB from start, or quite possibly from a dedicated domain, so that should give us a clearer picture. But still, I believe those downloads were from members of the extensive ModDB community who sim...

I don't see anything wrong.... Forum activations do take a couple of days. On some forums you cant even VIEW contents for a week or sometimes a month after you've applied and queued for authentication (like Megadeth forums). Just because TF forums are so loose with rules, doesn't mean all forums sho...

On 3DRealms forums you have to wait for three-four days. On deanguitars.com forums you have to wait four-five days. On Megadeth forums you wait for months and then they authenticate it when you send an email and complain.

But you can't post yet? It is like that for most forums. Activation mails usually arrive after a couple of days. But I can't imagine a reason for them to wait that long considering that it's an empty forum. But it does help greatly with preventing bots posting.

Well hey, I've got 2 sound cards. One built into my motherboard, Realtek HD Audio, and the other I got recently, Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer. I tested this out on both and it works fine. I just would like to see you guys try it and tell me if it works. We've been around mate. Tested all sorts of...

Was just about to say that 44KHz doesn't work well at all with my VDMS setup.

Yeah, all gosh-darn BLOOD maps had real 3D floors. Especially in the first episode where all structure relied on overlaid sectors - and most often combined in one way or another with the mirror stacking trick that you use, to achieve a fully three-dimensional feel of levels. But I don't want to argu...

I have BEEN making stacked sector areas in my maps, but I was unfamiliar with placing one whole section directly on top of another section so that they occupy the same 3d area. Uh, yeah, that's what makes Build games somewhat more advanced than DOOM, because they can do that. Putting "one whol...

It always seemed to me that a fellow smart enough to map for Duke/SW could make a Blood TC out of either of those games easy enough. OK, you say that's not possible? Sure seems like it would be 1000% better than anything made with ANY Doom-based engine. Yes, it would not be possible. Remember your ...

3DFX patch changes NOTHING. Also, there is NO version 1.2. These are all versions in existance (not counting patched retail sharewares): http://ratm.deathmask.net/versions.png You just need to know your current version, and an appropriate patch that will get it up to, say, 1.11. It will not stop BLO...
